I had my first ever theatre audition at Langham Court Theatre yesterday and it was actually a lot of fun. I got paired up and practiced with a few actors at the audition and learned a lot. It was extremely interesting to see what bold choices they made for their character and see how they go big to fill the room up with their energy. That was the biggest takeaway for me. I received a callback today and was notified that I didn't get the role I auditioned for but it's okay because I acquired valuable experience that will only make me a better actor.  I did my first live performance for 2017 at the Improv Caberet last night and it was actually quite scary to be honest. I had a few months of no improv and I suddenly threw myself at it to see how I'd do and to my surprise, it wasn't as bad as I thought when you don't think and just do it. I was still extremely nervous but luckily the people up there with me were fantastic because they saved my butt when they knew I was about to be in trouble. The main thing here is that I did it and proud of myself for being brave.
